Fits 1987-2004 Dodge Dakota; Transmission Crossmember Adapter - BHS528

Get that Gen III Hemi swap started the right way, by using a fully engineered engine & transmission mounting system that provides maximum component clearances, and ideal drivetrain geometry. This transmission adapter bracket works with the modular crossmember BHS525, BHS542, or BHS545 to fit the TR6060 6-speed manual transmission (a different adapter bracket is used for each type of transmission). This design allows future transmission changes by swapping out only the transmission adapter bracket instead of replacing the whole crossmember. The crossmember (available separately) and this adapter bracket works with engine mounting brackets (available separately) for optimal engine placement to allow Short Runner Valve Clearance (eliminates modifications to the firewall & brake booster). Hooker BlackHeart swap headers & exhaust systems (available separately) are designed as part of the swap system & provide clearance with all of the transmission options.
