Services We Offer

Exhaust and brake work is what we do all day, every day. Starting prices are real numbers, not a range — call for an exact quote on your vehicle.

Brake Repairs

Squeaking, grinding, or a soft pedal? We diagnose and repair the whole brake system — pads, rotors, calipers, hardware and lines. Most cars are a same-day job. If your pedal has gone spongy or travels further than it used to, get it looked at before it becomes a line replacement.

Muffler Replacement & Repair

A muffler that has gone loud is usually rusted through at a seam or has lost its internal baffling. We carry a wide selection of direct-fit mufflers plus universal options. Direct-fit bolts into the factory hangers and looks stock; universal is welded in and costs less. We will tell you which one your vehicle actually needs.

Catalytic Converters

Converter replacement to clear a P0420 code and get you through emissions. A failed converter is often a symptom rather than the cause, so we check for the upstream misfire or oxygen-sensor fault first — replacing the cat without fixing that just kills the new one.

Ohio E-Check & Emissions Repair

Wadsworth sits in Medina County, an E-Check county, so emissions testing is part of getting your plates. We handle E-Check work and we repair the vehicles that fail it. Failures usually trace back to a converter, an oxygen sensor or a misfire — bring the printed failure report and we will work from the codes rather than guessing.

Flex Pipe Repairs

Flex pipe is the braided section that lets the engine move without cracking the exhaust, and it is usually the first thing to fail on a front-wheel-drive car in an Ohio winter. Normally a same-visit fix. Symptoms are a ticking or rattling under the front of the car that gets quieter as it warms up.

Custom Exhaust

Full custom exhaust fabrication and performance upgrades bent on site for your vehicle — cat-back, axle-back, turbo-back, dual conversions and tip work. We stock Flowmaster, MagnaFlow, MBRP and JBA systems, and we will talk you through how each one actually sounds before anything gets cut. Not sure what fits your vehicle? Our fitment guides cover the common ones.

Exhaust Patches

If the rest of your system is sound, a patch on a small hole or a rusted seam will extend its life for a fraction of the cost of a new section. We only recommend it where it will actually hold — on a pipe that is rusted thin end to end, a patch is money thrown away and we will say so.

Brake Line & Fuel Line Service

Road salt kills steel lines. We repair and replace rusted or leaking brake and fuel lines, using pre-bent kits where they exist for your vehicle and fabricating where they do not. A brake line that is weeping is not a wait-and-see item; it is the one failure on the car with no backup.

General Repairs & Maintenance

Oil changes, fluid service, belts, general diagnostics and most routine repair work. If it is something we do not take on, we will tell you that on the phone rather than after your car is on the lift.

Questions We Get Asked

Do you do Ohio E-Check emissions testing?

Yes. Wadsworth is in Medina County, which is one of the seven Ohio counties where E-Check is required, so most vehicles here need to pass before they can be registered. We handle E-Check work — and if your vehicle has already failed, that is exactly the job we do every week: pull the codes, find why it failed, and fix it. A failed emissions test is very often a catalytic converter, an oxygen sensor, or a misfire, and all three are our core work. Bring us the failure report and call (330) 485-6823.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome and a lot of exhaust work gets done the same day, but calling ahead on (330) 485-6823 means we can have the part on the shelf when you arrive. Brake jobs are worth booking.

How long does a muffler or flex pipe repair take?

Most muffler replacements and flex pipe repairs are done inside a couple of hours, often while you wait. Custom fabrication takes longer because it is bent to the vehicle.

Do the parts you install come with a warranty?

Parts we fit carry their manufacturer's own warranty, and it varies by brand and by part. Ask us before the work starts and we will tell you what the specific part you are getting is covered for. For a part bought from our online store, our warranty information page explains how to start a claim.

Why is my check engine light on after a new catalytic converter?

Usually because whatever killed the original converter is still there — a misfire, an oxygen sensor, or oil getting into the exhaust. That is why we diagnose upstream before quoting a converter.
